You already know the buck stops with you. But have you ever listened to a health physics briefing and wondered what the point of half of it was. You may be a little rusty on some of the terminology but surely your company doesn’t need half the stuff that’s being described in this briefing. Or perhaps you are concerned about whether enough is being done to ensure compliance with the Ionising Radiations Regulations.
This training course will remind you what is necessary and what isn’t. It’s focus is the requirements of the Ionising Radiations Regulations 1999 and it is effectively a briefing from a qualified and experienced RPA outlining the legal and practical reasoning behind company RP requirements. Once you have a better feel for the necessary tasks, budget planning will be easier and an important health and safety weight will be lifted from your mind.
There are currently three versions of this course available:
- A full one-day version without written examination;
- A half-day refresher without written examination;
- A tailor-made version of the one-day course with relevance to company operations and with an optional written examination.
Every delegate on the course receives a copy of the Ionising Radiations Regulations 1999 and course handouts. An attendance certificate is issued at the end of the course.
